As the Spring semester comes to an end, LBCC expects 2,042 graduates at the 2017 ceremony that consist of 366 receiving Certificates of Achievement and 1,676 receiving AA/AS or ADT degrees.

Rehearsal for Commencement is Wednesday, June 7, at 4 p.m. at Veterans Stadium.

The Commencement ceremony will be Thursday, June 8, 2017, from 4-6 p.m. at Veterans Stadium.

According to an LBCC announcement, Ahmad Ali Lewis, hip hop artist, scholar, social worker, entrepreneur, motivational speaker and LBCC valedictorian from the class of 2008, will return to the campus to deliver the keynote address at the 2017 LBCC Commencement.

During the commencement ceremony LBCC encourages students to use the hashtag #Vikings2017 if they wish to be part of the displays that run on the big screens throughout the ceremony.
