The LBCC class of 2014 certificates and associate degrees will be conferred to more than 1,500 graduates at the LAC Veterans Memorial Stadium on Thursday, June 5.
Tickets will not be required for attending the commencement ceremony. However, seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
A reception is planned immediately after the graduation ceremony with photo opportunities, music and a chance to connect with employees and friends.
The student activities and ASB adviser, Derek Oriee, said, “It always brings joy as mission accomplished, all the hard work we have put in. We see results at the commencement.”
Parking will be free. Graduates may park or be dropped off near the check-in canopy at the south end of the Stadium. All other guests may park in the stadium parking lot.
People with disabilities will be directed to park in designated parking spaces at the east side of the Stadium. Additional maps may be accessed at lbcc.edu/yahoomap.
Photos from the ceremony will be available online after graduation. Graduates may visit gradimages.com to view and order their pictures.
Programs will be available upon entrance to the commencement ceremony, highlighting graduates and distinguished guests. For the first time veterans will be recognized in the program.
Questions may be directed to student affairs at (562) 938-4552.
